Module 1 OOAD with UML and Rational Rose for the IT Business Analyst
--Gain hands-on experience in requirements elicitation and analysis using Object-Oriented Standards(UML 2) and techniques.
--Understand how to integrate these with other, non-OO techniques over the course of an OO IT project
--Understand how to exploit IBM Rational Rose for business analysis activities.
Module 2 Data Modeling with Rational Rose and Erwin
--understand the components of the Entity Relationship Model.
--understand the need for detailed definitions of attributes, Identifiers, and domains.
--understand how attributes, Identifiers and domains will be used during later development.
--understand of the data modeling method used by ERwin that is sufficient to do real database design.
Module 3 Rational Unified Process and Case Study
--Gain hands-on experience in requirements elicitation and analysis using Object-Oriented Standards and RUP process.
--Understand the entire development process, from initial requirements gathering through system implementation, illuminating real-world intricacies, complications, tradeoffs, and decision making.
--Understand how to exploit IBM Rational Rose for RUP analysis activities.
-- Understand architectural concerns, including the production of a Software Architecture Document, Deployment Model, and Data Model.
Module 4 Software Quality Engineering: Testing, Quality Assurance
--How to master the techniques to produce high-quality, reliable software, regardless of the software system's level of complexity.
-- Illustrate how theory is applied in real-world situations
